Here I found the TNT and lever in the inventory

Here's my beautiful rocket before exploding it.

Here I set two blocks of TNT and a lever next to my rocket.

Explosion in action.

 Aftermath of the explosion. Not too much harm done to my rocket.

 I tried a more grand approach, by placing TNT all around my rocket.

Needless to say it was a lot more successful.
